“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all” is the most famous saying. And it comes from this very animated movie that starts itself off with just this phrase. However, much to the distress of the evil witch, the mirror replies it is not her. Honestly, I don’t know if it is her first time asking, or what.
Because if she has that magic mirror, she probably has used it before and must’ve asked the same question as well. It is interesting that she only decides to take action only now. But that is where the animation movie starts. We cut to the scene where a prince meets this princess and has a crush and starts singing to her. However, the take goes back to the old hag, right back to the moment before she orders to murder her.
The killer does not succeed but the fair lady ends up in a forest lost and is found by the dwarves who befriend her. In the evening that old hag comes along and gives her a cursed apple. She falls into a cursed sleep state in which she is to lay until she has the kiss of true love. (whatever that might mean). But as the animation moves on, dwarves who just met her and befriended her try a few things. The prince somehow wanders around the forest and finds out the situation and gives her that kiss, then she wakes and lives happily ever after.
